ERJ 145 Pilot In Command

Q: The LOC capture by the APR mode is too late
A: Open the erj.ini file (fs9/aircraft/feelThere PIC ERJ145LR/Panel) and by lowering the "locTrackGain" value (around 15) the LOC mode should become softer

Q: How's the autothrottle works?
A: Just like on the real ERJ there is no autothrottle. The pilot is responsible to maintain the airspeed

Q: OK, but there is a SPD button on the AP
A:  Speed mode can be selected during climb and descend. The AP will maintain this speed by changing the airplane's pitch

Q: The screens are black or the database is unaccesable by the FMS
A: Please install this file from Microsoft. XP SP2 users please read this and this.

Q: How to open the (cargo) door?
A: The ERJ is using the standard door keycommands so the same key that opens your default plane's door will open the ERJ's as well

Q: I bought the ERJ from other vendors how will I get my SP?
A: All installers now include the latest SP therefore no patch is needed

Q: Some SID/STAR procedure is missing
A: We are working hard to provide you the best database but you can also create your own procedures using the provided tools on our download page

Q: Where can I get the signature banners for the ERJ?

737 Pilot In Command

Q: Do I need FSUIPC for the 737?
A: The 737 doesn't require FSUIPC however if you already use it we suggest FSUIPC 3.53 or latest to ensure compatibility. If you are using the payware version please check out this post.

Q: Pitch or bank oscillation or the AP wont follow the FMS route
A: Make sure to calibrate your joystick and increase the null zone or if you have FSUIPC (free or payware) make sure to uncheck the "Yoke can overforce AP" option under the CWS tab in the 737 setup utility

Q: The database is unaccesable by the FMS
A: Please install this file from Microsoft. XP SP2 users please read this and this.

Q: In the VC the EADI shows the fuel quantity instrument
A: Change the VIRTUAL_COCKPIT_TEXTURES_SCALE=2.0 to 1.0 in the FS9.cfg file

Q: By opening the Setup Utility for the 400/500 it always opens the 300's option
A: You need to open it from the Windos Start menu

Q: Some SID/STAR procedure is missing

Q: My FPS jumps
A: Please do the following (it will increase the quality and the performance for your other FS add-ons as well)
-seach your computer for the file fs9.cfg and back it up
-delete fs9.cfg and start FS (Fs will rebuild it again) -you will use your joystick and realism settings but you can change it back in a few minutes -
-make the following changes in fs9.cfg:

-reboot FS and adjust your old setting for joystick and realism but don't change any Display settings
-your textures will be sharper and your framerate should be higher as well
-in case you don't like this new setup just overwrite this new fs9.cfg with the old one from your backup
